On Labor Day, we made a trip with two families in our ward to go see a the biggest tree this side (East) of the Cascade-Sierra mountain range. The forest was beautiful. The kids made some good friends and we all had a fun time!

Here's the tree... It's 177 ft. tall and 18 ft. in diameter.
They say it is roughly 3,000 years old. Wow!

Here's us next to the tree

Here's our family shot!

Here's all the kids on the steps. It had a nice paved trail all the way to the tree. Talk about an easy trek. I wouldn't even call it a hike!

Aaron and Mom

New friends and fun times! Elyse, Becca, & Lola

Packed in a tree.

Dad keeping tabs on Aaron. He kept wanting to run off with the other kids.
Who knows where he would have been off to?

Gracey and Payton had a lot of fun.

It didn't take long to become friends.

We all had a lot of fun, especially since moving we don't really
know what to do around here for fun!
We're learning our way around.
